BDI-Laguna adds WowWee Ltd.’s full line of consumer entertainment robots
Carlstadt, NJ, Sept. 4, 2007 — BDI-Laguna, a total solutions provider supplying consumer electronics and computer products to the nation's most successful retailers, today announced the addition of the full lineup of WowWee Ltd. products, to its portfolio for leading retailers. WowWee Ltd. is a world leading creator of breakthrough electronic entertainment devices including the Robosapien line of consumer robotics.
BDI-Laguna will carry all three product lines offered by WowWee Ltd.: WowWee Robotics™, WowWee Alive™, and Flytech™. Clad in a leather jacket styled from the “Elvis Presley ’68 Comeback Special,” the animatronic talking bust of the best-selling solo artist in U.S. history captures several of his signature facial motions in this recreation of the legendary star.
The Flytech™ Dragonfly is the world’s first radio-controlled flying insect built with a durable carbon-fiber structure. The dragonfly can be used indoors or outdoors with its speed, direction and height controlled by the 2 channel digital proportional remote. Based on an ornithopter design, the FlyTech™ Dragonfly flaps its wings like a real insect. The dragonfly can take off from any smooth surface, soar, dive-bomb, hover and glide silently for soft landings.
