BDI-Laguna to expand warehouse operations in Reno, Nevada
Carlstadt, NJ, November 29, 2007 — Amidst record breaking fourth quarter sales, BDI-Laguna, a total
solution provider supplying
consumer electronics and
computer products to the nation's most successful retailers, unveiled plans to expand the company's new warehouse facilities in Reno, Nevada.
Located at 6650 Echo Drive in Reno, the new BDI-Laguna warehouse will total 200,000 square feet when complete in early March 2008. The facility will provide a 24-hour cross dock operation, a pick, pack, and ship operation, and a large LTL truckload operation. The technologically advanced facility will be consistent with BDI-Laguna’s other facilities in Georgia and New Jersey, operating the warehouse management system from Manhattan Associates that will deliver seamlessly integrated programs and products to BDI-Laguna customers. This new facility will provide an outstanding West Coast gateway to the company’s suppliers, enhanced drop-ship services to the western region of the country, and will support BDI-Laguna’s continued strong growth.
